PPS Disposable pouches
Do you
need it?
With this in mind, Color Box presents a fairly diverse range of disposable paint cups and holders 3M™ to facilitate your uses and reinforce comfort in your tasks.
What are Color Box PPS disposable bags?
For RM and Glasurit paints, use PPS bags with 190 or 200µ filters.
For all other brands of paint, Cromax, Standox, Spies Hecker, Ixell, Ppg , Nexa Autocolor, Max Meyer, Sikkens, Lechler, Palinal, Lesonal, use PPS bags with 125µ filters.
To spray your body clearcoat, you'll need 3M PPS bags with 190µ filters for better product filtration.
Finally, to spray your primers, use PPS bags with a 190µ sieve.
PPS disposable bags
In this category, Color Box presents a selection of practical disposable PPS pouches, including :
Disposable bag sets for acrylic paints. The lids of these products are fitted with integrated filters to effectively filter the mixture during spraying. This guarantees a subtle final result. These kits provide a multifunctional solution for measuring the mixture, mixing, filtering and spraying. All in a single composite tool, to ensure more efficient application, particularly in the context of small touch-ups or major repairs.
These pockets offer other interesting advantages, such as :
- Uniform, consistent spraying.
- Greater savings on paint and solvent consumption.
- Faster preparation and cleaning.
- Better preservation of non-catalysed paints thanks to sealing plugs.
- A huge time-saver!
- Improved productivity in the workshop
- Great prices at Color-box.eu
- Standard size 2.0 Kits featuring disposable pouches, caps, locking rings, PPS™ lids with integrated filters and a graduated rigid cup. This is a complete spraying system that is perfectly suited to applying water-based paint.
- Large PPS sets that spray evenly at 90 degrees in any direction, allowing you to paint a large body surface like a complete car
- NPS disposable bag systems fitted with lids and integrated filters. These practical devices are useful for storing, mixing, filtering and spraying paint. All without the need for a rigid bucket.
Buckets
They provide a homogenous mixture and mean you don't have to clean these devices, since the preparation is carried out in disposable bags.
The measuring cups are fitted with transparent windows to make it easier to fill the preparation and give an indication of the quantity remaining when spraying. These products are recommended for metallic and pearl paint.
This range also includes :
- Rigid cups for the standard PPS system, fitted with clamping rings and rigid collars for securing disposable paint cups. These items are more sophisticated than conventional buckets, as they allow components to be mixed in the same tank. In addition, the mixture can be filtered using the associated filter, saving on the quantity of solvent used.
- Rigid, graduated mixing buckets from the Norton NPS range. They can be reused and are useful for making a number of mixes with a high degree of precision.
- RPS SATA buckets with flat sieve lids and integrated filters. This equipment can be linked directly to SATA guns, without the need for adapters.
- Mirka brand buckets which are perfect replicas of 3M pouches as the 3M patent has been in the public domain for a few years:
- pCS3 adaptor if you have a Satajet X5000 or Satajet X5500 spray gun,
- pCS5 gun adaptor if you have a Devilbiss SLG primer gun,
- pCS1 gun adapter if you have an Iwata W400 spray gun
How should PPS disposable bags be used and by whom?
Here are a few best practices for optimal use of disposable PPS bags:
- Place the disposable bag in the rigid cup.
- Mix the preparation directly into the 3M™ pouch. The closed cup painting system eliminates the need for pre-filtering and pre-mixing. This can be done with this all-in-one device.
- Close the bucket with a quarter-turn lock. All you need to do is :
- Press the lid down over the bucket.
- Fit the washer into the opening.
- Push down with a quarter-turn to lock the bucket.
- Choose the right adaptor for your spray gun and connect it correctly.
- Attach the adaptor to the bucket lid and push it down until it locks into place.
- Connect the spray system to an air supply to spray freely in all directions. This is possible because it is a closed system.
These products are designed for professionaluse, particularly by bodywork specialists, painters and car repairers.
