Presentation of the waterborne base colour
The Blue Pearl base colour comes from PPG's Premium waterborne range. Quick and easy to use, it offers excellent colour opacity when applied. The tint is part of the Envirobase High Performance finishing system: standing the test of time, this system simplifies most bodywork repair processes, including blending repairs.

Directions for use
- Degrease all surfaces to be painted with the appropriate PPG substrate cleaner before wet sanding with P800 paper or dry sanding with P500 paper.
- Clean to remove any residue and leave to dry. Then clean again with the appropriate PPG support cleaner
- Prepare your shade mixture, then filter through a 125µ cone to remove impurities and lumps
- Prepare your 1.2 - 1.3 mm nozzle HVLP gun
- Spray the paint onto the surface to be painted, using even, criss-cross strokes and overlapping slightly.
- For small surfaces: apply a normal coat followed by light coats.
- For large surfaces: apply 2 normal coats followed by a light coat
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment throughout application.
