Scotch Masking Tape 2328 is a lightly creased masking tape for general automotive repair applications.
It is specially designed for temporary masking and one-off temperature exposure (up to 80°C)

USE
Make sure the area/substrates to be masked are clean and dry before applying the masking tape.
Clean rubber gaskets on windows and plastic mouldings with a suitable cleaner to remove silicone, to ensure there is no contamination and to improve tape adhesion.
If the tape has been allowed to heat up overnight, it is advisable to ensure that the tape is at a sufficient temperature before removing it. In another case, adhesive residues may remain on the vehicle.
Satisfactory performance and clean release of Scotch Tape 06311 will be achieved at varying temperatures / exposure times on many substrates. Tests should be carried out to establish the performance parameters of 06311 masking tape under your processing conditions.
To ensure optimum performance and easy removal of the product, maintain a temperature of 80°C for 60 minutes.
